About this fish
This is a robust turquoise cichlid found in Peru. They are pair-bonding and care-giving spawners that require a large aquarium with good filtration as they are voracious eaters that will grow to 10 to 12 inches. They are beautiful in their natural coloration but become absolutely stunning during periods of courtship.
